Planning a surf trip to Russia can be tedious! Just ask Chris Burkard, Keith Malloy, Cyrus Sutton, Trevor Gordon, and Dane Gudauskas. They mapped out a full trip in an isolated location, living off the land, and surfing the seas so logically you’d think packing minimal resources would be the way to go. However these boys have a plan.
Each one packing their specific “arsenal” of surf, water related, and camping equipment to get them through the harsh weather conditions, but also a light enough load that the crew could carry. The load was strictly necessities because these boys planned to go backpacking trip off the coast of Russia in search of waves. With a surfboard and a wetsuit in hand, carrying more items than necessary would seem excessive, but these guys have it down to a science.
