Now being recognized as one of the strongest storms recorded in history, Super Typhoon Haiyan has officially struck the island country known as the Philippines. According to CNN, at least 3 people have been killed and the worst part of the storm hasn’t even begun. With winds up 195 mph and gusts at 235mph, the province of Samar began experiencing the wrath of Haiyan at 4:30am this morning. As the storm continues to move over the Philippines for several hours, it looks to eventually makes its way in the direction of Vietnam.
