The ASP 6-star Quiksilver Saquarema Prime presented by Coca-Cola saw tons of action in the 4-6 ft surf at Itaúna Beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Australian Mitch Coleborn defeated French competitor, Marc Lacomare, in the final heat of the day with a total of 17.60 against Lacomare’s 15.67. The Volcom WQS athlete took home $40,000 and added 6,500 important points to his rankings.
