The Mauli Ola Foundation invites everyone to a benefit concert featuring Thrive and The Hallway Ballers to raise awareness and money to support those suffering from genetic disorders. The concert will be held this Thursday, May 9th at the Barrelhouse in San Francisco, CA. Along with an amazing live show, many legendary professional surfers will be on hand to talk about the Mauli Ola Foundation’s national “Aloha” tour, where they will be traveling the world and holding surf clinics for children with Cystic Fibrosis. The surfers on tour include Kala Alexander, Gavin Beschen, Jason Magallanes, Hans Hagen, CJ Kanuha, Shawn “Barney” Barron and Nathan Hedge.
While touring in Northern California, the Mauli Ola ambassadors will be visiting Children’s Hospital Central California, Sutter Children’s Center, Sacramento, UC Davis Children’s Hospital, Children’s Hospital and Research Center Oakland, UCSF Benioff Hospital and Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford.

Following the concert, The Mauli Ola Foundation is hosting the 5th Annual Richard Schmidt Surf Experience Day this Sunday, May 12 at Cowells beach, Santa Cruz, CA. Here, children and young adults suffering from Cysitc Fibrosis will be offered free surf sessions with professional surfers: Richard Schmidt, Kala Alexander, Shawn “Barney” Barron, Gavin Beschen, Jason Magallanes, Brian Ortega, Nathan Hedge, CJ Kanuha and Hans Hagen. Come hang out from 8:00 am – 11:00 am and show your support for these inspiring young adults while watching surf legends show how it’s done!
