Bringing more stoke to the sunny coast of California, skaters, bikers and bladers united in the 7th Annual B4BC Skate the Coast longboard-a-thon event to spread awareness of breast cancer. From Santa Monica to Redondo Beach, participants committed to an 18-mile adventure on the beautiful boardwalk along the Pacific Coast of SoCal on Saturday.
Over a hundred participants of all ages, rallied with good vibes along the boardwalk being pretty in pink, wearing eye-catching attire and face paint. Hydration stations and power snacks were posted along the skate route to refresh and give a boost to the dedicated riders.

Raising over $20,000 in Skate the Coast, participants of the B4BC event had the opportunity to fundraise for the cause and win epic prizes including a GoPro Hero 3, skateboards, shirts and more. As a non-profit organization, B4BC has impacted the lives of many women to thrive with healthy and active lifestyles through various educational and physical programs.Team riders of B4BC include professional athletes Mimi Knoop, Allysha Bergado, Elena Hight, Courtney Conlogue and more.

The Surf Channel crew had the privilege to participate in Skate the Coast for a good cause. Thanks to GoldCoast Skateboards, the Surf Channel crew cruised in style with some of the top 2014 longboards of GoldCoast Skateboards to represent a healthy and active lifestyle for a purpose. After the nice long ride, an after-party hosted by Wahoo’s Tacos provided free food for participants as well as fun booths and live music.
