“My greatest accomplishment is just hearing that people enjoy my photos and my videos. I still remember the first time I started hearing that.”- Travis Kuhlman
It wasn’t until early high school that surf filmmaker Travis Kuhlman discovered his love for surfing by tagging along with his closest buddies. After many long days spent on the beach, the San Diego native picked up his mom’s DSLR to experiment shooting a few photos, and was immediately hooked.
Today, Kuhlman has melded his two passions in life into one solid career. As a videographer for Surfline, the Long Beach State graduate has not only thoroughly documented the California coastline, but has traveled to an outer reef in Nicaragua, the wavegarden in the Basque Country, the North Shore of Oahu, Teahupoo in Tahiti, and more.
