John John Florence Claims First World Title

John John Florence has done it! After a long season of hard work and a handful of close calls in previous years on tour, John has FINALLY claimed his first world title! At 24-years-old.

Impressing the judges has always been John’s strong suit. The Hawaiian native consistently brings fresh and innovative surfing to the competitive realm, pushing all boundaries. His style of surfing is world-renowned, unique, and quite honestly, mind blowing.

What was John’s secret?

“My whole life has gone into this, everything I’ve done but just this year especially, learning so much about competitive surfing, focusing completely on it and having so much help and support, it’s been amazing.” Florence added. “The title was my goal this year so at this point I’m just going to go out and have fun.”
