The J-Bay Open started strong the beginning of this month (July, 2016) and over the course of a week, has come to a screeching halt. Five rounds of surfers were able to battle to the quarters with no interuptions. Then once it started heating up, the waves decided to die-down. The WSL competition has been on standby for about 5 days now, and everyone is eager to see who comes out on top.
The surf community and surf fans have so many questions like, will Wilko hold onto his gold jersey? Is John John going to dominate? Or how crazy would it be to see Fanning take it home after his gruesome experience at this comp last year?
Be sure to tune into the competition.
