There were a number of characteristics that I enjoyed about this film, but I especially liked the authenticity of Blake Lively’s character. As a surfer, it’s rare to see a. For the most part, Hollywood portrays surfing as the stereotypical (almost corny) 70’s surfer. However, this movie encompassed the current lifestyle, language, and even surf habits ie grabbing the nose of your board out in the water.
As far as an abnormally large great white killing machine, stalking a girl for days.. not very likely. But I think that’s the fun of a thrilling shark movie! Overall, I really enjoyed this film, cinematically how it was shot, and the storyline. I actually left the theater wanting more!
