NubTv’s film/surf crew vlogged their two-day shred-fest at Surfs Up, a new water park in New Hampshire.
The way the wave pool is designed, surfers have the opportunity to carve up the face or even get barreled. When the pool is empty, it closely resembles a skatepark. Once park operators fire up the pool, water fills the entire park and high pressured water pushes up against the walls and lip, creating a simulated wave. Park operators can choose the direction at which they shoot water against the wall, to create either a right or left handed break. It’s unlike anything you’ve ever seen before and the NubTv guys got to test it out!
