Just this past weekend, the western Americas welcomed one of the biggest swells to hit in years. Malibu was lucky enough to experience the same magic, with one of the largest swells to hit the area in 2015, generating fun, carve-able waves for long and shortboarders alike.
Malibu, renowned for its slow rollers, welcomed the shredding of short boarders, on the clean open faces that broke perfectly peaking around 7-8 ft. There were many toes on the nose, smiles, and occasional snakes in the water for a solid three days. Surfers around the world, as well as, Malibu locals all welcomed May with open arms, and surfing feet. Here’s to hoping more swells like this will roll our way soon!
