An original Surf Channel production, “EXPOSURE” is an ongoing series featuring the world’s most talented surf photographers. Episode 5 features Red Bull Illume finalist, Ben Ginsberg.
Ben Ginsberg was raised between the southern Connecticut shoreline and the mountains of Vermont, where he learned to love the best of both worlds. Though he spent time in the New England region as a photographer, urban planner, and freestyle ski coach, it wasn’t until 2005 that he founded Driftwood Photography. Ginsberg later found himself on the warm shores of Australia, where he learned to shoot surf photography and catch some waves of his own.
Today, Ginsberg lives in Orange County, California where he continues to shoot some of SoCal’s most iconic breaks such as Lowers, the Wedge, and Mavericks. Check out some of his best work and most memorable moments in this episode of Exposure:
