The PaddleFest race competition features a six mile elite course and a two mile short course. For those who are not fans of racing, the Chaka Paddle is a non-competitive one mile course aimed more towards new paddlers or beginners to simply enjoy the fun of paddling. Stand up paddle boards will be provided as part of the entry fee. You can register here.
All participants will get to keep their own official PaddleFest Swag Bag consisting of t-shirts, Nature’s Bakery Bars, Surf Museum Ticket, and many more. In addition, all participants who will complete their laps will receive an official PaddleFest medal at the end of the line as a reward for their hard work.
Beach goers can prepare themselves for some SUP (Stand Up Paddle) expo, live music, raffle prizes, autograph signing, free massages, and many more. Also, free SUP boarding lessons at 10:30 a.m. will be provided for children.
Urban Surf 4 Kids is a grassroots organization dedicated to uplifting orphan and foster youth. Showing children the joy of water sports, while giving them a chance to belong to a community through serving others.
All proceeds will go towards the Dreaming of Aloha Foster Youth Achievement program providing foster youth a family-like vacation in Hawaii.
