In order to raise awareness about stormwater runoff and ocean pollution, LA Waterkeeper is asking you to join them for the 3rd Annual Stand Up for Clean Water paddleboard race on Saturday, April 12th. The event will host hundreds of clean water advocates and outdoor enthusiasts for the benefit held at Paradise Cove in Malibu, California.
Participants will have the chance to compete in a 5-mile race, 1-mile fun race, relay race, and be a part of the SUP & Yoga lessons/demos, watch the awards ceremony & hula opening ceremony, celebrate at the after party at Paradise Cove, and enjoy the live music! REGISTER for the event here.
The Los Angeles Waterkeeper organization focuses on protection and restoration of the Santa Monica Bay, San Pedro Bay, and other waters through enforcement, fieldwork, and community action. With the help of their Litigation & Advocacy, Marine, and Water Quality teams, LA Waterkeeper is able to ensure water protection in waterways throughout LA County.
