Held at the A’ala Skate Park in downtown Honolulu, Hawaii, the Poseiden Foundation put on an extra special day for the members of Kids Hurt Too to share some love and community through the sport of skateboarding. CB Burnside and Elissa Steamer were on site to help coach and skate with the children of Kids Hurt Too.
Burnside and Steamer were able to share with the group about finding your passion, trying your best, and supporting them every step of the way as they earn a new skill.
The Kids Hurt Too foundation was built on the vision to heal the hearts of young children who have been through the death of a close family member, catering to low income families. Kids Hurt Too gives children and their families a sense of community and access to resources that they are missing. The Poseidon Foundation empowers discouraged youth to realize their full potential through the sports community.
