Attracting over ten thousand people due to one of the best swells in years to hit the Billabong Pipe Masters waiting period, the epic final day of competition went down in history. The largest crowd to ever line the shores of Pipeline filled the beach as the top athletes braved the 10-12ft barrels. Each heat was more exciting than the next, as Mick Fanning (AUS) was crowned the 2013 ASP World Champion, then John John Florence (HAW) defeated Fanning in the Semis and claimed the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing title, and finally Kelly Slater (USA) took home the Billabong Pipe Masters win. With 11 heats of pumping surf, there was plenty of action to capture, and our team narrowed down the best shots to share the experience.
