LieberVision continues the Zero to 100 story featuring Lakey Peterson in a surf video called, “Marathon.” This inspirational short picks up where the international award-winning documentary left off, now the No. 1 hit on iTunes Sports. “Marathon” shows the long journey starting halfway through Peterson’s 2013 season. From going head-to-head with Hawaiian World Tour Champion Carissa Moore in the Finals of the Rip Curl Pro at Bells Beach, to freesurfing with her GoPro, the film captures the Women’s World Tour from Peterson’s point-of-view.
Currently ranked 6th on the ASP Women’s World Tour, Peterson is constantly training to compete against the best female surfers in the world.
“This year, I’ve learned and realized how hard I need to work. And im gonna be scrappy and take the waves I want. I’m just realizing that in surfing and in life it’s not a sprint, it’s a marathon,” said Lakey Peterson.
A portion of the proceeds from the film will be donated to the Pray for Daisy Foundation to benefit cancer research.
