Promoting the awareness and beneficiaries of the SIMA Stokes Me Foundation, Rip Curl is excited to announce that the Rip Curl Pro team will be signing autographs in San Clemente on Saturday, September 21 for the SIMA Humanitarian Fund. As a 30-day digital fundraising contest, surf brands, retailers, partners and any surfer in the world will compete to raise the most money for 10 surf-related humanitarian organizations, and in turn win some cool prizes. Rip Curl has taken on the challenge to endure the campaign’s motto “Surfers Helping Humans” for the Stokes Me Challenge of attaining $220,000 by October 30.
Creating an atmosphere of good vibes, 3x ASP World Champion and living legend, Tom Curren, will play live music for the crowd and top athletes Mick Fanning, Gabriel Medina, Matt Wilkinson, and Taylor Knox will be signing autographs.
Hosted at the San Clemente Surf Center this Saturday, September 21 from 1-3pm, free custom hat press pumping will be available as well as free tacos served by Los Locos. In addition, a Benefit Raffle will take place at the Surf Center giving away wetsuits, watches, sunglasses and more.
All proceeds will go to the 11 beneficiaries featured on stokesme.org.
