This wasn’t your typical shark sighting over Labor Day weekend in Long Beach, California. According to the Press-Telegram Columns, a great white shark was spotted at Mother’s Beach, just below 2nd street in Long Beach, California. Despite many assumptions of the frightening creature swimming it’s way into the exclusive bay, a local shark catcher captured the shark near San Clemente Island and brought the deceased carcass into Marine Park where he loaded onto his truck. Bystanders stood around snapping photos that lead many to believe the Great White to be swimming around in Long Beach. For more details, read information on PressTelegram.com.
