Hurricane Sandy was a traumatizing and deadly storm that has forever changed the lives of millions of people. While the storm caused pain and sadness to homeowners along the East Coast, it was also a testament to how communities were able to gather together and support each other through the devastation.
Working alongside with the GrayBeards, a non-profit organization established by members of the Rockaway Beach, New York community, The Red Bulletin Magazine captured a local movement driven by a group of Rockaway Beach surfers. Red Bull created a short film called, “Roll On Rockaway,” which explains how the surf community continues to rebuild homes and livelihood.
The Red Bulletin will donate $1 to the GrayBeards organization for every person that signs up here for the magazine using the special code in the video. The “Roll On Rockaway” story will be available in the print and digital editions of the August issue of The Red Bulletin which is now available at newsstands.
