Professional big wave surfer Alex Gray attended the “Celebrate Wellness” event to benefit the Cancer Support Community in Redondo Beach, California this weekend. Held at the South Bay Botanical Garden in Palos Verdes, the funds from the Food & Wine Tasting fundraising have benefited more than 150 free programs for cancer patients and their loved ones. The organization’s goal is to help patients with cancer recover from the physical and emotional effects of the illness.
Guests had the opportunity to relax during the warm summer afternoon and enjoy the cuisine from the Palo Verde’s finest restaurants. The event also included a silent and live auctions with live music. Other VIP participants who attended the 17th annual celebration included “The Hangover Part III” star Oscar Torre and Devin Alexander, the Chef from NBC’s “Biggest Loser.”
