The new Wavegarden 2.0 is finally here. This updated version of the artificial wave pool can run for 220 meters and over 100 waves can be surfed each hour from its two wave tracks. Wavegarden recently released a video of the new and improved machine being tested out by pro surfers Dane Reynolds, Taj Burrow, Miguel Pupo, Jadson Andre, Gabriel Medina, Damien Fahrenfort, Craig Anderson, Jeremy Flores and Pauline Ado.
The machine can pump both left and right-handers and is perfect for professionals and beginners alike. This new technology also boasts the lowest environmental impact by using less energy than other wave generators. The surf lagoon that is currently being used for testing offers only smaller waves, however in a larger setting these waves will grow bigger. This lagoon is yet to be open to the public, however Wavegarden is already forming agreements with affiliates around the world to bring more people the longest man-made wave ever.
