Ever made it to the beach for an early surf session to find out you need wax, a new leash or just want some coffee? The Dawn Patrol Truck campaign is hoping to solve this problem and bring the surf shops to the beach for early morning sessions. Created by surfers for surfers, this mobile surf shop is hoping to cater to all your early morning needs.
The essentials to the Dawn Patrol Truck include:
– Fin Keys
– Key Valets
– Breakfast Burritos
The key valet service allows surfers to store their keys in a place safer than just the front tire. This service hopes to prevent cars from getting broken into, allowing for a carefree morning surf session.
The Dawn Patrol Truck also plans to offer prepaid options through your phone eliminating the need to carry credit cards or soggy bills with you.
The home base of Dawn Patrol Truck will be Venice and Manhattan Beach (El Porto) where the founders Greta Kruesi, professional kiteboarder, and Blake Jamieson, surfer, call home. Kruesi and Jamieson plan to service everything from Newport to Malibu on a regular basis with trips from San Diego to Santa Barbara as well.
The goal of Dawn Patrol Truck is to increase the quality of life for surfers around us and to salvage potentially ruined surf sessions after leash snaps and lack of wax.
The Dawn Patrol Truck needs your help to make their mobile surf shop and food truck a reality. With a fundraising goal of $20,000 any donation from money contributions, to spreading the word helps this goal.
